Default Falken Azenis RT-615s / Sadness.

Put a set of these on yesterday afternoon (205/50/15), on my EM1. I love them. Of course, I probably didn't need to post that for most of you to know those are good tires. Just thought I'd share an experience though. I mounted the tires yesterday. Today I get called into work because of some server problems. I'm about 100 yards from work, going through some construction area at about 30mph, and it's raining. The construction forces you to make a quick 2-lane shift to the right in an intersection. I'm crossing the intersection when a kid on his bike runs through the stopsign going the other direction. I didn't want to hit the kid so I banked right and braked hard, and barely missed him. Unfortunately, my tires broke traction and I was sliding into a curb at 20mph. Crunch.

Looks like the axle is bent quite badly, the rim is screwed and the tire is done for. The whole wheel is shoved back into the well and it can't be driven.

It's an EM1 with:

greddy evo2
crower ctr cams
fidanza 8.5lb flywheel
exedy stage 1
CAI

And a t3/t4 kit sitting on the garage floor.

I'll post some depressing pictures later. ;D

Yeah, I'm not too torn up about it. Just kind of ironic.

that sucks about your car, but i dont think you need to name all the performance parts. your just asking to get your car stolen.

Yeah, I suppose. But the second I bought a Honda I was just asking to have my car stolen. This is why I own a garage.
