Default Fake Twin Loop muffers - any good?

Are these twin loop mufflers garbage or somewhat ok? I heard a lot of the "cheap" stuff are just cans without much cotton to soften the sound. I don't expect Mugen, but is it worth the $50 on ebay.

My friend has a Konig twin loop knockoff. I'm very impressed with the sound it produces. I think the ones on ebay look better than his since it is more compact.

I'm happy with my ****! The sound is so pure and i think it looks alright. Not like anyone will see it since its tucked under the chassis.

IMO it sounds good. Nice deep tone and it doesnt scream. No clue about turbo. Sorry honda-bro...cant help you on that one. I would figure it would sound even better though.

I'm just curious wether it is loud like an N1 or an Evo, or is it quieter like a WS or SP?

What is the point of it. It just looks like the path for the exhaust is elongated. If you want you exhaust to sound good, dont just but a muffler. Get headers and a cat-back. My Apex N1 sounds great. Its a little loud but it doesnt whine, very deep growl.

I too wanna know what this thing sounds like... although I can't imagine it being very good for turbo. It's only a 2.25 inlet.

If they misspell "warranty," do they really have to provide one

They can't even spell "warranty" right, and can't write english very well. I would trust them.

the loop looks like it just makes air flow slower through the exhaust...just remember you get what you pay for

I bought an Mugen Twin Loop replica made by OBX with the purpose of making my exhaust a little more quiet... It should arrive today, I'm gonna get some before and after sound clips and measure all the piping since some people are debating that the loop isnt 2.5" all the way.

My exhaust setup, JDM ITR 4-1 2.5" Header, Carsound 2.5" cat, 2.5" mandrelbent piping, 2.5" resonator on a 1997 JDM GSR Motor.

Review is coming tomorrow, be on the look out for it.

i have the obx, it sounds VERY good on my hatch. it is NOT 2.5 all the way through, but i've heard rumors that the new ones are.

mine is butt for turbo, tho. not big enough piping.

By putting that 's' after header, your statement lost all credibility.

When you correct every mistake you sound like a nerd. Find something better to do. Why dont you correct all of the misspelled word on the page? You probably have the time.

I say bollocks to this.......one of my mates in D-series.org has one fitted on his EG6 and I personally think it's all hype....I have a similar set-up on my aircooled VW motor and all it is, is like basically have two silencers.....

I put it up with the tornado intake booster thingiemabob.
