I don't think anyone would like a whale's ***** lying in their engine bay. It's not cool.

I used to have one. Sold it after 3 weeks. Couldn't stand how big it was.

does it actually make power or is it just another intake that makes less power then stock?

I agree about the looks...I can't stand them.

Not sure about gains either...I'll know more in October when I plan to tune then...until then, it's just a tight fitting air intake that is ugly (and cheap) as hell.

Fingers crossed this thing produces results on the dyno.

best intake on the market might look ugly as f*ck, but who cars?

EDIT: oops, thought it was real j's... ...if there is as much gains with the fake then

Same hp gain as a cai but the throttle response isn't so bad. IMO it's still not worth the "Whale *****" look.

I'm WAYYYYYYY over on the other side when it comes to "fahion". I rather have a h00ptie for looks but a built motor rather than looks.

But have you seen these in person. When I had it, loved it. Good throttle response. Supposedly 3whp/2wtq gains. But after a while, it's an eyesore for me. If it's a regular pipe intake 2.5"/3", it's fine. But the shape of this one plus how it bulges in the middle got to me.

You've been here long enough. You've seen the "J's Racing Intake" theads. You've seen the one where they actually took a picture of a whale with its ***** hanging down and the J's Intake right next to it. Couldn't tell them apart.

In that case NO ONE would place rims, lips, carbon fiber hoods, amber corner lights, etc...etc...etc...on here (which is a big thing here on Honda-Tech to have) if everyone was a "fashion ***". You probably have "enhancements" to your exterior to make it look better. Before you go making comments about "fashion" without your car being a COMPLETE sleeper, take a look at yourself because that makes you a complete hipocryte.

BTW, COMPLETELY stock Sedan here. Rolling on 13's.

lol, the thing that gets me is that it's UNDER THE HOOD....unless it's an all-out show car most people won't see this, lol

...IF someone is always under the hood they're probably working on the car and would thus probably not care too much about fashion, i'll give it to personal preference though

i also wouldn't mind having a whale of a ***** under my 'hood'

i dont think a b16 could even consume that much air through the intake manifold.
