Default Fair deal?

I am buying a D16z6 of another member of this board. I just want some opinions on if this a good deal. Heres what I will be getting: Full D16z6 motor and tranny with about 84k on them, I will get everything + the axles the only things I wont be getting are the cpu, intake or header. All this drop of to my door for $900.00 is this a good deal?

Whoa good deal! But then I will have to factor in shipping to me in Vermont. Then this motor has more miles on it. I dunno.

no matter how many miles are on it, you should probably set aside money to fix it up, and do basic maintanence on it.

Yeah I am going to do the water pump and timing belt plus a new clutch before it goes in. But I figure if I buy a swap from someone out in cali for $500.00 then I would have to pay $300.00 to have it shipped. Or I can have this guy drop it off to me, which would also allow me to look it over.
