Default Factory dyno/torque curves for stock D16Y7?

I've looked everywhere to find if Honda released factory dyno results for it's cars. I really don't want to waste money on dynoing my car now cause it's completely stock and I don't want to spend money to be ashamed in it's poor performance.

So does anybody know of a website that has factory dyno results for Honda engines? Specifically a D16Y7?

You are looking at 80whp on that motor. It's 106 at the flywheel.

You don't need a dyno chart to figure that out. I want to see the torque curve.

It's not a B series, so auto-hate initiate. Would be interested to see factory dyno charts.

http://sms-products.com/DynoTesting.html

As close to factory as I could find in my 5 minutes of allotted "searching for the lazy" time.

Don't know what purpose knowing this would have.

That beautiful flat Sohc torque curve, exactly why I will be building one.

Guy wants to see his factory chart? Would anyone here dyno a perfectly built/tuned car and pass on seeing the chart? Same concept. Useless really, but interesting nonetheless.

Actually it's not useless, I want to see the torque curve so I know the best times to shift when I want to reach top speed as quickly as possible.

"Top speed" and "D16Y7" are oxymorons. And the "curve" is pretty much flat. I can tell you that driving my wife's hatch there is no "best" time to shift. The engine is not built for revving, speed and definitely not power.

If you want to get to "top speed" then gun the hell out of it and shift at red line.

Yeah, I know my D16Y7 is very slow. But it's all I got right now and I want to have fun with it for the time being. But when I try and do what you suggested (gun it and shift at redline), what happens is I can actually feel the engine not pulling anymore after about 5k or so (guessing since I don't have a tachometer, been to a pick n pull 3 times looking for one, no luck). But definitely far from redline it stops pulling and I can feel when I shift it starts pulling again.

Don't know about you but when I feel power falling off then I shift until I run out of gears. Don't need a dyno chart to tell you that. If you've driven your car long enough you can hear when you need to shift and never have to look at a tach.

Yes, that's how I do it. And it's always how I've done it. I just wanted to see the torque curve is all.
