f22a eg until the h22a can be purchased
just got rid of my h22a 90 accord...........so i'm familiar with the h22a and f22a motors.....but i've got the d15b8 in my civic hatch and it's worse than i could have imagined.....
if i do any swapping, i figured i'd go ahead and swap an f22a in there with an HCP h22a mount kit and cb7 linkage and all.....i could get the f22a a lot cheaper obviously and wouldn't this leave me ready for an h22a later......
my plans were an h22a/h23a1 tranny with quaife LSD/chipped p28 so the wiring wouldn't be too bad.....
anyone done this or know if the mounts would give me any trouble......i don't wanna buy a mount kit then hack it up just to make the f22a work.....and hell, it wouldn't be a bad setup either with the torque it would be making compared to a d series....

well, the one rear mount on SOME cb7's (90-93 accords) needs modification.....no clue why some do and some don't.....and i'm sure you could make an adapter plate or something so that you didn't have to mess up the hcp mount.......or something...seems feasible....i'm sure people have done this before

why mess with the vtec f22b.......IMO, the f22a6 is just as capable.......not like the f22b vtec engine was really meant for power anyway......and f22a6 with a few bolt ons would be a faster setup than a b16a swap....same hp and a lot more torque....f22b doesn't mount up exactly the same as the f22a either, from what i've heard.....seen a few people swap them into the cb7 and it wasn't nearly as easy as they thought......
