The title says you jimmy fit a f22 exhaust manifold to a d16 block...
First of all, an exhaust manifold connects to the head of the motor... not the block.
Second of all a f22 exhaust manifold can not be jummy fitted to a d16.
The only exhaust manifold that will be compatible for a d16 motor is the stock one or other exhaust manifold from another d series motor. Stay away from f series, h series, b series, k series exhaust manifolds.

try reading up on parts that are interchangeable, but for a few exceptions, different series motors have VERY few parts that are interchangeable, the exceptions being some parts b/w f and h series
