You don't use a throttle body to "get more fuel/air ratio". A larger throttle body is needed when yours is proven to be a restriction. In your case, that is not likely. The d-series 56mm throttle body can support plenty of power.
However, to answer your initial question, yes, you can use it.

What do you mean? Bolt-on mods for your existing engine and swapping in an F22 are apples and oranges.

I'm almost 100% sure you cant. I remember having an f throttle body and a d mani and trying to put them together and the bolt pattern is different. Unless the throttle body I had was an H but I'm pretty sure f/h have the same tb.

I will admit that I'm not 100% on this combo.
As far as I know (knew), all B/D/H/F throttle bodies are interchangeable, but some minor machining might be required.
Whatever the case, an F22 sized throttle body is not ideal for a d16.
