Default Exxon Superflow or Castrol

it might be stupid to ask but just curious to know. I been using Castrol 5w-30 and 5w-20 on my both civics. but exxon superflow is on sale for 65 cents per qt. Should i go with exxon ? does it make any differentce what oil i use, i change oil regularly on time between 3000 to 3500 miles. thanks

Exxon and Mobil are the same company, and any major brand oil is basicly the same when it comes to conventional. And no, it does not matter either as long as you change the oil around 3000 miles. That is the most important part. Keep up the good work on the interval. I see too many yahoos at work who come in with 6000 mile oil changes and engines that tick.

Where is the sale? I'd definitely like to go pick some up for my next few oil changes if it's a store we have locally. As long as you're keeping the proper change intervals and using the correct viscosity (which it appears you do), you'll be fine the the Exxon.

Great. I'm in northern NJ too, so I'll check it out this weekend and hopefully the sale price will still be available.
