darn, i was gonna say something like advance your timing but seeing that you already have crower cams...it's kinda pointless.

I see in your list of mods you have exhaust, if that exhaust doesn't includ a header i can sell you one for about 50-75 bucks. HP Racing 4-2-1 2-piece Ceramic. You live in hampton, that's not far from me and that's where my girl lives. I'm in riverdale. I also have a test-pipe cat for 50 bucks for sale, along with a 99-00 Civic SI AEM CAI for about 75-100 bucks. Fields VTEC and FUEL CONTROLLER for $150.

i find it EXTREMELY doubtful that you'll ever beat a crx running a 75 shot... those cars only weight about 2100lbs....

my advice to you-- get slicks.

I was thinking the same thing....Intake and open header.

I'd advise against the open header. for engines modded like yours it's proven that full exhaust is best. only race engines and turbos should have open header.

Ditch PS & AC. Find a used camgear in good shape. or a Unorthodox race crank pulley, Header, A die grinder if u know how to port good and can reassemble your head.

huh... his stage2 cam would benifit from a 4-1 header (bisimoto) and nothin else behind it (plenty of power gains, less weight) with slicks he could drop and 5 and scream.

heres an idea
try a hondata intake manifold gasket.

its made out of some sort of plastic, so it insulates the IM from the head, so that it doesnt get hot. Its supposed to give you around 5% more hp! and apparently its no joke, the thing really works.

also its a reusable gasket!

I believe its around 60bux

you can also try a y8 headgasket(if you have a z6) for higher compression, although i'd do some research about how that'd work with your cam, because you dont want your valves to hit your pistons, heh.

oh and some TUNING is always good for more hp

right before you race him take your belts out gut the **** out of car. start atkins diet plan and lose some weight. wear only underwear, no shoes. Leave the 100lbs CD cases at home. get better grounds, add more of them if you like.

If all else fail the moment you pull on him just a little bit jump in front of him so he can't get by.

P.S. use what you like from above

For $50 nothing will give you a significant increase that you can 'feel'.

Yeah...agreed...but then he didn't say he wanted a significant increase, I think. He said, "a little extra hp."

have you removed ac and ps yet? Just the ps belt alone removed makes a good difference.

edit: how do you like that crower stage 2 cam? Also I don't think your gonna be even close to beating that crx with a 75 shot. That thing is gonna be quick.
