Default Extended Wheel Studs

does anyone know how to install extended wheel studs on a 92 dx hatch??? just the front???

You have to seperate the hub from the spindle, then in turn you have to get new wheel bearings and put it all back together.

don't HAVE to get new bearings, but a good idea while it is apart.

You may waznna weld the back of the stud to the hub while its off. Last thing you want is the stud to spin while your taking your stripped bogart lug nuts off.

that **** happened to me before and i ended up ruining my old 95 gsr rims

btw i got ARP studs...

ARP studs here as well...

Simply put: Remove knuckle, press out hub and wheel bearing, press out old studs, press in ext. studs, press in new wheel bearing, press in hub
Have a look at a good service amnual it will make more sense then.

There's no way to install the stud with the whole assembly still on the car? When I was at a tire shop once, they busted one of my studs, and replaced it on the spot, still on the car.

We both know those aint blota's Blotas are sheer and have a shine. Mugens are corse and dull like the pict.
