Re: (JDMlyfestyle)
in the auto cross world people like to have extended shifters so its less of a transition for your right hand to switch between the wheel and the shifter, my friend simply cut his in half, took it to a shop and had it extended 3in and then powder coated, actually looks nice and works decently. plus it was like 20$ to do.

I've been thinking of doing this, I went from a '95 Eclipse to a '98 CX and my first impression was holy crap it feels like the shifter is clear down on the floor. I haven't found a ready made aftermarket piece, at least not yet.

Re: extended shift lever (cbmprelude)
There was a thread a while back about an extended shifter, I can't seem to find the thread but I think it was called a Fastline Shifter? Seemed to get great reviews from everyone.
