Default Expected gains froma AEM CAI On a D16Z

Ok my buddy has a Honda Del Sol Si, and we are planning to put a AEM CAI on it for the first minor mod until an engine swap, should we expect 4 whp gains?

Or Will it be a little more/less, I can't help him much since I know little of the D series engines and I figured he (ultima) will appreciate the help.

Thanks in advance, bye.

why waste the money on the aem.. it's a tube and a filter on a 17 second car. Just buy a ebay intake, same thing. Dyno proven over and over

Not My car, Not my money

I drive a DA.

And most likely all we are gonna do is put the intake on until we buy a b16 swap for it.

Damn you guys must be pretty good buddies to be putting money into a car together, sounds a little weird

I would expect 2-3 horsepower, I would just buy an ebay intake and use a K&N filter. Its much cheaper and has effective, unless you guys want to invest money on your car. Hopefully you guys will enjoy the del sol with the targa off while your crusing watching the sunset together
