okay, first theres the header, then a resinator, then a cat, then a muffler.

my friend ask my this question and I didnt know what to say and I said i'd get back on him on that one.

Question:

My friends Hatchback has custom Exhuast, he has no cat.

so all he has is just a header, resenator, then uuni muffler.

Now hes resinator has some holes in it making a ugly sound,

what would happend if he took out the resinator and just had
Header>strightpip>(nocats and resinator)> to a uni muffler??

will it sound diff? will it hurt the motor? more HP?

You will have more exhaust flow resulting in more top end power but it will sound like crap because you will get so much resonace(tin can rattling) due to the loss if the resonator which absorbs all these vibrations. Just buy another resonator and eveything will be cool.

without a resonator and no cat,..it will probably sound like complete ***,..like a buzzing rocks in a can type sound,..just tell him to get another resonator

i thought resonators came after the cat...
but anyways, just get another resonator.
