Exhaut/Tranny Rattle...
Hey guys,
I bought this 00 hatch with custom 60mm piping and a Flowmaster exhaust. The car also has an EX header and a cat from a coupe. Currently, the setup is about 1" short... the muffler tip is getting black soot all over my rear bumper. The car is also lowered which makes the tip touch and melt the lip sometimes.
I jacked the car up today and noticed that there's quite a bit of play to the exhaust. The exhaust rattles quite a bit and I feel like it's touching the shifter somehow cause there's also a significant vibration coming from the shifter. Does anyone have any ideas on how to 'secure' the exhaust (to stop as much rattle as possible) and make it hang slightly lower so that it doesn't melt my rear bumper?
Thanks!
