Default exhaust w/ muffled sound

ive got a i/h/e(greddy) on my 93ex coupe...its loud but doesnt always sound right. almost like its muffled or exhaust flow is restricted (debris?) does anybody know what could be muffling the sound?? thanx

temperature has alot to do with it, but im sure it was designed to sound "muffled". thats why its called a muffler. if you want your **** to be heard miles away, give me your greddy **** and go buy an apc exhaust at autozone.

exhaust leaks typically make it louder, jerk.

maybe if u got a flange gasket that is not the same inside diameter as the exhaust piping or off center blocking the exhaust flow it may cause something like this. then again it could all just be in your head.. cat is definetly something to look at though.
