do u have a test pipe? when i put my test pipe in my boosted sohc, i could smell more exhaust smell. and yes all the gaskets were on my car. one of my dsm buddies also noticed a difference when he used a test pipe as well.

Re: (boostin4drcivic)
i guess u can say i have a test pipe. really my exhuast starts from where the down pipe bolts to the turbo and goes all the way to the thermal. no breaks, no bolts nothing. its all one piece.

Sounds like you might have an exhaust leak, and it is getting into the passenger cabin from the shifter console. I'd suggest jacking it up, starting it up and then crawling underneath and feel around for a leak.

Re: (94CarbonHatch)
did you ever foudn out what it was? mine its smelling too.. i can notice a 'surge' of the smell soon after i get into boost, it seems to come from the vents even when they are closed... i hav eno cat (will put one there soon again) and probably a leak contributes to it.
