exhaust - should i get a new one? + new pics of ride
hello,
do you guys think i should get a new exhaust. here are some sound clips of what it sounds like now. i know they are really crappy sound clips, i had to take them with my cell phone while i was driving but i think you can get a pretty idea by listening. this is on my 1993 civic del sol with a b18c1 swap.

and as far as the exhaust goes, why do u need a new one? is yours stock?
if you do get one make sure its an exhaust and not a fart can

i can not be more than happy to hear that bro! this is a Yonaka Motorsports Full Cat-back exhaust system. the company makes the exhausts for most honda/acura. i do like it but i couldn't tell if it sounded to "ricey" like a fart can, you know? so i do like the exhaust but i didn't want to fall in the ricer category when it comes to exhaust.

I got a big al's special!! 2.25in with a magnaflow REAL muffler. It sounds quiet at idle, when accelerating its a little louder. Then at WOT, my intake is louder than the exhaust. I love it.
...yours sounds pretty good too. I'd keep it!

Why are you so concerned with "not falling into the ricer category"?
Why don't you simply just think for yourself? If you like how your
exhaust sounds, then keep it. If not, get another one. You want the
ricer police on h-t tell you whether your exhaust qualifies as rice? If

del sols are the ****. i am thinking of going with a skunk2 mega power catback. they sound pretty good.

they absolutly do! i heard a few them on youtube, and they sound very good. yeah, its ashame honda stopped production of del sol's.
