Default Exhaust shop piping

Does it matter if the exhaust piping up to the muffler is exhaust shop piping or is it better to buy the piping with the muffler?

depends on how it's bent. Most exh. shops "crush bend" the exhuast, which is worse for flow. Most cat-back exhausts are mandrel bent.

yes it does matter if u get piping from shop or full exhaust system

*full exhaust system usually hold your hp back a little and most of the time they dont have the look that u like and the diameter you need...soomething too big, but quality is better than shop bcuz of its stailess steel and thicker wall pipe

*piping from shop up to muffler is more in demand since you can get little more flow, cheaper in money range, u can pick the size you want and get it mandrel bend the way you like, however u must get a good muffler such as greddy evo2, n1, or watever you know....

*disadvantage of shop piping they can get rusted...but if you do anti rusted paint and then another layer on the top of that with high heat paint to keep the pipe from getting rusted...in most bad condition case like suck welding usually took about 6 months or 5 to get rusted, good condition at least 2 years(including spray paint like above)

*crush bend is crap, i;m sorry but i must say,, they worth ****..., they hold you back, ur hp weak...look hella ugly....not worth the buck at all

*mandrel with minimal bending (less curving) will worth the buck for the performance

*Quality of shop piping in term of sound.
good sound require these
^good muffler
^new cat converter (recommend)
^somewhere at least 16" resonator to 24, or longer like 3 feet (usually 16 or 22 is cool)
^good welding, no hold,
^minimal bending (try to minimize the bending so the air travel more straight, more free
^all piping from header's collector must be same throughout to muffler inlet...for maximizing performance
^don't forget to paint ur pipes with anti rusted paint then over that is high heat to keep air react with ur metal pipe during hot wealther or hot piping.

dont i forget anything?
