Default Exhaust rubbing on heatshield

I just installed a yonaka exhaust for a 94 civic and where the s bend of the pipe is it rubs on the heatshield. Its very annoying while driving. I dropped the s bend off and tried taking a hammer to it and it did nothing. The e brake cable is right above it so im sort of nervous taking a grinder to it. Any ideas? ill post a picture in a bit

I found my old tin snips and snipped pieces off to stop rubbing. Thanks anyway though

Yea, just modify the heat shield to fit the exhaust. Much easier than the other way around.
