exhaust questions

ok, ive been searching for the past couple of days and cant find quite the answers im looking for.
my first question is about a greddy evo exhaust. i was browsing procarparts.com and noticed that they have a greddy evo exhaust for 96-00 2/4 door civic dx. now i want to know, would that fit on a lx? are the hangers and stuff all located in the same spot?
i work for a company that sells oem style replacement exhaust parts. (walker exhaust and a cheap walker knock off company is what we sell) i was looking in the book and found that 96-00 civics that are not an ex or si all take the same pipe (part # 47724) now that leads me to think that any exhaust for a non vtec ek would fit. is that true?
my next question is about the exhaust manifold with the cat. now ive never really seen what a y8 motor looks like so....would an aftermarket exhaust manifold for a y8 bolt up to the y7 block? i know that would get rid of the cat, but im not to concerned about that. or do they make one for the y7 that i havent seen or heard of?
another theory i had was to use a exhaust manifold for a y8 (if it would fit on the y7?) and then put the cat underneath and run an exhaust for the ex. would that work or am i way off?

on a side note...i was looking at the red/clear tail lights for a 96-98 4 door, are the ones they sell on procarparts.com junk? i thought i remember reading about a canadian acura 1.6 el that has the same out tail lights with the red on top and clear on bottom. if thats true, where could i find those? i would rather keep oem parts if possible.

sorry about the long post and if i was being stupid and this was discussed a lot already

Re: exhaust questions (murtnabila)

they are different than the non vtec cars because of cat placement right?
what about like that greddy evo exhaust that is for 2/4 door dx...would that fit on things like a 4 door lx or other non vtec civics?

96-99 are same, not sure about 00, but I'll guess they are.
