Exhaust question!

What do you guys think of the Apexi world sport exhaust for a 00 civic Si?
And if you dont like it, what exhaust is good for a turbo setup for the same car. Not too loud though.. thanks guys! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

I have a magna flow cat back exhaust on my car and it sounds great. It is also made out of stainless steal and you can get them for a decent price to. I got my for 450 installed but you can get them on ebay for under 300

The original exhaust in question. The WS. It's got a nice deep tone and looks good, if you're not going for the N1 cannister style.

Yep....if you're going turbo, your exhaust will not sound anything like it would on a N/A motor. Bottom line is it's gonna be fairly quiet no matter what you put on it.

This is exactly true. The turbo is a large restriction in the exhaust and quiets things down A LOT.

To the original poster: You do know that the Apexi World Sport is a chambered exhaust, right? It isn't "ideal" for turbo applications because you will be losing quite a bit of top end power.

That said, I had a Apexi WS on my turbo Integra. I was running high boost, so I decided it was better to sacrifice power on top end when I could run quietly and look fairly stock driving around town.

The exhaust sounded very nice and it gives you a chance to hear the turbo spool and blow off real nice. I loved those sounds and a quiet exhaust like this lets you hear it. The N1 style ones, since they're straight through, are quite a bit louder. You barely hear the turbo spool. And driving around town, is very loud. Something I'm not fond of.....but you might be.
