i havent looked up exhaust for civics but on my accord i have the apexi WS2 and i love it at idle and normal acceleration its very quiet and deep (for aftermarket exhaust) but when you get on it it doesnt sound raspey or ricey its just a louder deeper sound to it.. but that is also with a 2.2 not a 1.5 1.6

lmao, i am very new to H-T, as far as posting, but ive done my homework..i think lol.
as far as it not being to loud , nor too quiet.... i have (what i believe) to be stock cat back, with an apexi muffler. i recently put megan headers on it. as ar as the volume, i definately have to say it is a lot quieter in the low rpms compared to stock headers, but its literaly banging on all cylinders when it in the 3500-6000. as far as finding a mid point, my buddy did the type r muffler on his 92 hatch with stock cat system and dc header. the first time i heard it i was liek wtf did you buy because it really wasnt much louder than stock. i hae heard of pacesetter mufflers being very deep, but not loud. theyre not metal grinding, nor are they those really throaty ones where you hear eveyrthing thats going on in the engine as it comes out the rear end.

my opinion is either get pacesetters, or a nice catback and simply slap a silencer on it when driving around town...save the fart can for track days

I recently sold my hatch, but the RS*R EX Mag is an excellent exhaust imo. Very nice, mellow sound.

Your exhaust and the apexi WS2 are basically the same thing... just yours is alot more money. cant go wrong with the ws2. probably the most liked and used exhaust around.
