I'd get a universal muffler (es oval or the like) and run custom 2.5 piping from the cat. In most cases you can have an exhaust shop do this much cheaper than buying a catback.

The SP isn't "krazy loud" but it's loud enough to be heard. When the car has warmed up and the muffler has a few thousand miles on it, it's really boomy in the car. It's A LOT louder inside the car than it is outside, but it's the cabin resonance that pisses me off...and yes, under 4000rpm it's a smooth sound inside, but after that it can get kinda loud. It's a good exhaust though.

GReddy SP is one the quietest, if not THE quietest cat-backs you can purchase. I was totally happy with mine and would never get a different exhaust unless I hear something quieter, and I haven't.

As far as custom solutions go, good luck with finding a truly quiet one.

The Apexi WS is the quietest. It is by no means stock but it is SLIGHTLY quieter than the SP, the WS is ALMOST unnoticeable...both are quiet though, in comparison to other exhausts. I like the Apexi build quality better myself.
