Default exhaust question

ok i see online where it says that an exhaust is for ex models or coupe and hatchback models. by me having a 92 4 door dx its a lil hard to distinguish what from what. i know a hb exhaust wont fit but i see some sites where it has "coupe/sedan" and also "ex/dx/si" and other sites its just "ex" or "coupe". so lets say i buy a coupe ex exhaust, will it fit on my dx? im just a little confused about it and i dont want to buy an exhaust then find out its not the rite size

edit: nvm i think i figured it out hopefully

Or you could find an exhaust setup you like and then call the place you are going to buy it from to clarify if it fits your car and get the guys name that you talk to, so then if it happens to not fit you can say "Well Joeshit Ragpicker said it would fit my car so you will have to pay to ship it back"

yes the 2.75 is perfect it will add like 25 hp haha is this guy serious?? if your going to keep that motor 2.25" is more than enough, go 2.5" if you plan on swapping in a cammed motor later or a turbo that way you only do it once.

well i went to 2 shops today, some pro exhaust shop (forgot name..yea i know that helps alot -_- but i was in a rush) and i went to muffler stop (ehh...something like that) but either way their prices were ****** rediculous. one shop wanted $150 for the cat and 100 for the tail another shop wanted 120 each...katrina prices..gotta love em. now im kinda assed out cuz my uncles friend said that they are charging pretty much what they want cuz ppl need their **** done. and for a $800 paint job he said they are charging like $1200 as far as mufflers go...psh i have no idea now unless i fork out almost 300 which aint gonna happen cuz i seen work that some shops do. one whole damn piping welded together
