Exhaust Pipe

Exhaust Pipe
I am attempting to change the rear exhaust pipe on my 2000 Civic, D16Y8 engine. This pipe goes from the muffler to the catalytic converter.
I removed the rear bolts on the Catalytic converter from the rear exhaust pipe by cutting the rear 2 attaching bolts. I did this because after 14 years the nut and bolt presented as almost welded. I cut the front two bolts on the front of the converter for the same reason. The converter came out. the bolts did not.
I now need to remove the 2 cut bolts from the rear of the front exhaust pipe. My question is as follows.
1. Are the rear exhaust pipe holes threaded or not? If not, I can cut the retaining nuts off and drive out the remaining studs from the bolts I cut. if the exhaust pipe holes are threaded then I need to drill out the holes or get a new exhaust pipe.
Any suggestions. Much appreciated

Re: Exhaust Pipe
I believe the back of the cat does have studs and the flange by the lca are just bolts .... (anyone feel free to correct me) but next time try to use heat to loosen them up works great

Re: Exhaust Pipe
I got the old pipe out by grinding some kind of corroded stud on the rear of the front exhaust pipe flange. Once I did this the bolts fell out of the flange.
Once I did this the new pipe went in with no difficulty. My 2000 Civic is back on the road. Thanks for the help
