Hello everyone, I've got a 1993 Civic EX with the d16z6 all stock.
Right now it sounds like a large lawnmower, on the original exhaust manifold where the pipes go from 4 to 2, I have an exhaust leak.
A couple of questions, besides plenty of p'blaster, what else can make this job easier?
Is this leak close enough to my O2 sensor to affect my gas mileage? I've noticed it has been munching gas but I don't have a check engine light.

Personally I'd either go to a junkyard to find a OEM manifold, or ebay.

I would say yes it will hurt your mpg because you o2 sensor wont be reading what it should be reading fully

The little rings will cost me all of like $3, definitely cheaper than a manifold. I already swapped the one on the engine side, thought it was the one leaking. Guess now I have a new gasket.
