Default Exhaust Help

Alright guys i have a question, i just put a new header and a resonated test pipe on my car. I have a Apexi N1 catback, and i knew it would be loud, which it is, and im just looking to quiet it down a bit. What muffler do you think i could weld on to quiet it down a little, ive heard things about the Dynomax Super Turbo, im just looking for input, and i know that its never going to be QUIET becuase of the test pipe, but any advice is appreciated thanks.

how much are you looking to spend?

If you like the N1 look, just add a long resonator. Most muffler shops will do that for $40.

Or you can get an oe muffler for nothing. WSII mufflers are about $180.

i dont want to break the bank, and the N1 look was more of a buy when i was 16 i kinda like the clean, sleeper look now, so id say im pretty much looking for a new muffler that can quiet me down, and the resonator is a good idea too, but i am looking to change teh muffler, so im just looking for some inputs on mufflers

i have probably the same exhaust as you, test pipe, long resonator, and had a can for a muffler. I switched to a cheapy turbo muffler from advance auto hoping to quiet it down and make it look clean. NAY, it sounds like a ringy 2 stroke. So basically im in the market for a cat now.

I would put the stock one back on if you still have it. Go 2 1/4" piping throughout.

More flow, still have the stock look plus your gonna be quite as hell.

A World Sport exhaust would work great. My buddie had like the loudest car around and put that WS exhaust on now and is quiet as hell.

so you think if i used my stock muffler but had 2 1/4 inch piping ran to it, it should quiet it down quite a bit? but still not loose too much flow?
