Default Exhaust / Engine Question

So I want / Need a new exhaust on my SOL but I'm thinking of doing a swap, and turbo later on.
I have a D16Z6
I want a B18C1
Eventually Turbo'd

Should / Can I get a Cat Back that will work w/ all three setups? (the Motor I have now, the Swap, and then Turbo'd down the road.)

If Yes What Size should I be Getting, If no I'm going to wait on an exhaust till I do a Swap

Thanks
-Joe

I dont think any of the Del Sol premanufactured exhausts are engine specific, but I dont think there are any that are made for turbo set ups. Skunk2 makes a really nice free flowing exhaust that would be ok for now and after the swap, its pretty loud without the silencer in though, so I bet with the turbo it would quiet down a bit and be alot nicer.

But As far as like diameter size, Should the B18's diameter for be larger then the D?

And what diameter do you all recommend?

The thing is, if you are going to a B18 and then turboing it, you'll definitely need a bigger diameter. Probably in excess of 2.5"-3". Since you only have a D-Series motor in there, by putting a 2.5"-3" diameter exhaust on, you'll probably lose a lot of low end power, which any D-Series motor already lacks. As far as mating it, you can probably keep your catback, but definitely need some fabrication done to the down pipe (for the turbo) or some shortening/lenghtening of the test pipe/catalytic converter piping. A DelSol catback is made for a DelSol with a D-Series motor. Maybe you can get away with it if you get a DelSol VTEC catback, which might be the same anyways. IMO, wait for a swap. Regardless if you have a B18 with NO turbo, a 2.5" will benefit on a B18, but certainly not on a D-Series.
