Exhaust?
hey everyone whatsup? Ive got a '00 Si MR and i'm looking to bjuy a full catbak exhaust for it soon. I've already asked clubsi but I want to ask you guys here and see what you have to say. I'm deciding between either the Apexi N1 and the Greddy EVO 2. Im looking for a nice fit, finish, qualty, performance, and most of all sound. I dont want it ricer l loud but at the same time i do want to know its there. A few peopke have said that the N1 rubs against the gas tank but is there a way to resolve this problem? They also say that the N1 is loud for normal day driving but if I put the silencer in it won't that reduce the noise a bit? The EVO2 looks good but im afriad that it might be too quiet so what're your thougths on this and reasons? THanks in advance for the help!

Re: Exhaust? (PhatBoy5015)
honeslty, turbo is not reality for me and I'd like to stay NA for now. I can't afford a turbo at all, and basic bolt ons is what im up to for peformance. Now when you say that neither of them or quiet i mean i know that the N1 is like the loudest they come. Is this true?

Re: Exhaust? (RedSiRacer)
Yeah, its pretty damn loud. My friend had a Evo2 on his 2000 Si and it was pretty loud too. But I have Tsudo N1 catback and it isn't that loud and has a deeper tone. Plus, its cheaper.

Re: Exhaust? (PhatBoy5015)
What do you mean by a Tsudo N1 though? im confused. Sorry. i mean you tink ill get hassled by the cops and pass inspection wtih either exhaust? Im not lookint to spend a lot of money. I was looking at the Apexi GT Spec but itsl ike $700 where as the oterh 2 exhausts are only like $500 shipped if i buy them from this one website.

Re: (gold_ef)
The thing i dont like about the RSR Ex Mag is that it looks so stock. Let me be more specific, ive seen Civic's with exhausts before and im sure they havent been hassled too much. I mean i know that its my decsision and my money, but i want the racing look witha bit of sound. Ive heard the N1 from Apexi once and it was a bit loud but would it help if i put the silencer in it? I mean as far aas the Greddy EVO2 is concerned, you tink ill be able to hear it? I dotn mean to ask dumb *** questinos i just dont wanna be dissappointed with what i buy cause they can be a lot of money.

Re: (cambopheonix56)
I would go custom. Get some 2.5" piping from Kteller.com, and then get a universal muffler that you like the looks of. Honestly your not going to notice much difference in power, but that would probably be the best idea (IMO). I hope I helped

Re: (skylinetph26)
After talking to my mechanic i finally choose b/w the two to go with the Greddy EVO2 since the piping follows the OEM stock ppipe bends by the rear axle. Thanks for the help everyone. He said that w/ any exhuast its gonna be pretty loud.
