Re: exedy clutches (mr.sleeper)
My friend has one on his Type R. He has a had a few problems with strange noises now and again, but nothing major. I have driven the car both before the clutch and after. The Excedy clutch is much more responsive. It engages almost immediately when you are letting the clutch out and grabs hard inbetween gears. I like the clutch, but I don't have any experience with any other clutches out there so I really can't say it the Excedy is better than another.

Re: exedy clutches (mr.sleeper)
hi sleeper
I got a 3 puck excedy installed onto my ek civic a month ago. With a normal cast iron flywheel it makes screeching sounds during soft disengagement (riding) of the clutch...otherwise its great...it holds the power but i havent tried too brutal a launch (ie about 4000-5000rpm launch). Otherwise i'd recommend it.
