Ok, so far i've delt with nothing but old POS Ef's throughout my driveing career, I just recently picked up a very nice 97 civic 2 door coupe for $850, got a heck of a deal considering whats done to it already. What I want to know, is what can I do to it now, other than just bolt on's? I know it could use a header, and finish the exhaust, already has a cat-back. What I thought about doing is swapping heads on it, it has the y7 on there now, would the y8 have the vtec? Sorry for that newb question, but I still don't know to much about honda's. If the swap is what I think, it shouldn't be to hard, swap ecu's and extend some wires. I guess i'm kinda looking to do a bigger mod than just a bolt on. Let me know what you think about doing this.

why dont you start by reading the FAQ's at the top of the forum.

Not looking to swap engines, just the head for the use of vtec, and a little more flow/power.
