Default exaust system that fits on 94 cx hatchback

I have a 1994 civic cx hatchback, I am having a hard time finding an exaust system that will fit. Im intrested in the greddy evo 2, on there site it list that they only have it for CIVIC EX/SI 1992-00 and CIVIC DX 1992-95. I emailed the people at greddy and they were clueless to wheter it would fit or not. does any one know if any of the models would fit.

you want to purchase one thats for 92-95 civic si. companies that make exhaust for specific models are for those cars. since you have the supa dupa economical hatchback. your best bet would be to obtain 92-95si stock exhaust manifold or after market for that model purchase a stock cat converter 92-95si or after market for that model and use it with the available exhaust for 92-95si which is the only model exhaust for your chassis.

*always remeber if a part isnt made for your particular series modification will always be needed.

to my knowledge no one has produced an exhaust system that will fit with mod. for the cx or vx. you'll have to take it to an exhaust shop to get it installed or you'll need to buy or obtain a header and cat (aftermarket or stock) for any 92-95 civic and use those and it will all bolt up with your new system.
just a little fyi
i'll try to get you some links to threads about it if you need any other info....i don't feel like typing all the useless details about it again

In a couple of months im going to swaping out my d15b8 with a b16 sir2. so far im looking at a dc sports 4-1 header. So would i have to buy a Aftermarket catalytic converter and get custom piping.(stock piping is shot and is too small). or do you think i should take a chance and get a full catback exaust for 92-95si. when you say "92-95si which is the only model exhaust for your chassis" do you mean just the muffler, and none of the piping?

What you're going to want to do is wait until you swap in your new motor before you put in any type of exhaust system. There are issues with everything lining up bewteen the two different motors, and on top of that, do you really think that adding exhaust to a 70hp motor is going to do anything? probabaly not anything noticable.

The reason that the 92-95si and ex cat back systems wont fit your cx is not because they wont fit underneath or they dont bend in the correct spots, the cars are basically identical inderneath, the issue is that the cx and vx models have the catalytic converter built into the header, while the si/ex have a seprate cat.

so basically waht i'm saying is, get your b16, get headers to fit it, get a hi-flow cat, and get a 92-95 si/ex cat back, and you'll be all set.
