Default Exaust Resonator?

Hey ive got 97 civic with a couple mods , cai, header, full exuast.

the thing is my car isnt fast ......thus i do not want a loud slow car.

Will a resonator just decrease the sound? Will I lose any power?
and how much sound will it decrease... i like my car at high rpms but driving slowly i dont like the loudness. ? anyone can help, links would be nice....thanks

also i plan on putting in a 98 p&p civic EX head.....hows the VTEC on these things? and is a p&p on my civic gonna add the 5-10 hp or is that just on the B series motors? thanks guys i really appreciate it...

As long as you get a resonator the same size of the piping on the exhaust it shouldnt restric you too much.

It quiets the exhaust alot, and takes the raspiness away, but if you're not running a cat thats your problem... The cat does most of the job taking the noise away.

a resonator will reduce sound, as well as flow. but trust me you want it there. its worth the .00000000000001hp loss

Prices vary depending on where you go. You can do it yourself if you know how to weld.
