EX/SI headers the same?
I have a b16a2 si motor going into my 98 hatch. Now i have dc headers on my d16y7 which is made for the civic ex. Will i be able to have these headers on my b16a2 or will they not fit. Again they are DC Sport 4-2-1 headers for an EX and i want to know if they will fit an si

If they fit why does DC Sport have 2 different model numbers for the EX and the SI?

since when is a b16a2 the same engine as a d16y7/8? No, your old header won't fit on the new b16. |

there is a SLIGHT variance with it. if you wanna be cheap you can make it work. do i recommend it? no! it can be done though. ports and bolt holes dont match, the bolt holes can be corrected with a dremel. the port holes, you dont fix that.

the b16a2 si engine is ofcourse not the same as the d16y8 ex engine however i believe sweet lou was talking about the si/ex from eg's which are both d16z6.
