dirty brake fluid in booster. brakes weak...how did dirt get in?


my friend brake has been a lil weak lately. we jus opened the reservoir and the fluid is like all cloudy black , not clean and clear like its suppose to be and its too dark to take a look at it right now. Was wondering how soooo much dirt contaminated it? did it go thru the reservoir cap because it was on tight, or can it be a rip in the lines? he has SS braided brake lines btw

So tomorrow should we jus bleed the system and fill in with new fluid and see wat happens after a while? wat if it gets like taht again

well if u sorta understand how brake calipers work. you'll see that the piston brings dust past the seals and into the fluid from there it just work's its way up to the resivour.

so if we just bleed the whole system and put new fluid in we should be fine again rite?
