EVAP Purge Solnoid and performance
I did my b20vtec swap a few weeks back and when I mixed up the b18b harness to the b20vtec motor, i swapped the IAT and the EVAP plugs. Worked for a while, but when I finally got around to getting a gsr dizzy, the ecu finally gave in and fried itself.
My question is: Could I completely get rid of the EVAP solnoid without hurting my performance? I know what it does, and it seems to me like its just some BS emissions thing and isnt all that necessary.
Also, what color is the IAT wires on an obd1 harness?
