Estimate on Windshield replacement?
I need to get my windshield replaced soon, because thanks to a friend it has a big crack right down the driver side. How much should I expect the average job to be done? We're talking windshield price + install.
Thanks.
Thanks.

you might want to go to honda. it will be pretty pricy but there's nothing like a factory installation. i bought my SI from a (non-honda) used car dealership(forgot the company..maybe chevy) and i had them replace the windshield and few months later the seals were becoming unglue'd and ****. i'd call honda and some local popular window repair places.

I paid $350 for the windshield and passenger side window at a local place when my car got broken into.

yeah, depending on the deductible, my new windshield was $50 installed.
I'm going to have to have mine re-replaced though because I had mine repaired by some no-name repair shop, and like someone mentioned, the seals are going bad.
Make sure Honda, or a reputable shop does the replacement.

$315 with a hookup? Ouch.

If you go to Safelite Glass Website, you can find an authorized installer and possibly any online sales promotions. I paid around $150 for my Civic and around $220 for my WRX.

When I had my window replaced it was about 140. If you want to get oem ppg glass its going to cst you about 300 to install it because the glass alone is about $250.
Also before you get your window done you may want to get some new trimmings for it. http://www.hondapartssource.co...ch=no
