As long as you get the resonator, if not it would be just as loud as all the others.

Mine wasnt to loud without the resonator. I wish i wouldnt have put one on mine... It seem like it was deeper without the resonator. its still deep, but not like it use to be...

its 99 bucks for the 2.25 inch muffler..and 109 for the 2.5inch muffler....i got the 2.5...
is that 2.25/2.5 the inlet outlet size?? if so, can i buy the 2.5 and have a shop run a 2.25 custom catback? or should i just have them run a 2.5 to match the size of the muffler?? im going to order mine first thing monday morning. thanks

no, you need to order the size inlet/outlet that you want your piping. welding a 2.25" pipe to a 2.5" inlet is ghetto, will look cheezy, and might even sound slightly cheezy. have the diameters matching if you're stock....go 2.25"....if you're modded more go 2.5"

My friend with an EK hatch sprayed the can flat black, but left the outlet pipe, the polished color it came in. People always ask him if it's a itr muffler..

ok now the real question. how does it sound?
is it loud when you tromp it? is it stock?
there are obvious power increases (i hope) because its a 2.5 inch pipe now.
im looking for a muffler thats quiet at idle but you know its not stock when you slam it.

most japanese exhausts (greddy, apex) at 2.3", it seems 2.25" would be a better fit, right?

isnt 2.5 a bit too big for a n/a car?
2.25 should be sufficient, no?
