Erratic idle speed

Erratic idle speed
I've got a 1992 Prelude Si, H23A1 with an erratic idle problem. The idle speed varies wildly from about 800 RPM to 1900-2000 RPM. Once the car is put into drive it runs well. Does anybody know what causes this?
