EP3 steering wheel into EK

did a search but didn't find what i need. do i need the SRS reel cable from the ep3 along with the steering wheel and airbag?

I don't think just the cable reel will work. You moght need the whole SRS unit from an EP3. Just get an EP3R or DC5R steering wheel and you won't have to deal with the airbag not working. It's plug and play.

Yup, you can do this OR buy a complete EP3R/DC5R steering wheel

what if its just a EP3 Civic Si steering wheel?? will it plug into the srs?

The EP3 and the EJ have different SRS systems. The EP3 has a dual deployment while the EJ has a single. It will not work.

research haw to take the bag modual out of your wheel and insert it into the wheel you want. I don't remember the web page off hand.

What the hell are you bumping for? The question has been answered. You can bolt an EP3-Si steering wheel right into a '96-00 Civic, but you cannot use the EP3-Si airbag because the SR systems are different. You have to use an airbag (or complete steering wheel) from an EP3-R or a DC5-R.
