Is this engine vtec?
I found a D16z6 civic si engine on ebay for civic's and i wanted to know if this engine i found is a vtec. It doesn't have "vtec" stamped on the valve cover, but the spark plug holes are to the front of the valve cover. any idea?

i'm taking a guess here, but sohc civic engine with plug holes in the back of the engine are non vtec like the D15b7 and sohc vtec have plug holes ini the front? But not all sohc vtec have vtec stamped on the valve cover correct?

It may be a 92-93 D16Z6 as it won't have the VTEC letters on the valve cover. Those later came on the 94-95 D16Z6 engines.
