The D16Z6 also has VTEC.

Nitrous will be fun until his tranny goes.

Yup, D series motors get huge gains from a little bit of juice but the tranny is the week point. Just installed a 50 shot NOS kit on my d16y7 a week ago, Exedy stage 1 going in tomorrow... I'd get rid of the auto tranny first, just my 2 cents.

Nazzz comes from nos... a company. No I mean nitro as in the fuel, nitrous oxide. Anyway, so you all think it would kill a automatic tranny? What about a manual transmission.

Nitrous oxide is an oxidizer. Nitro = nitromethane = Top Fuel

And yes, overtime it can kill an auto tranny. Especially one from a D series. Heat kills torque converters. At least with a manual tranny, the clutch can take most of the beating and can be replaced relatively cheaply.
