Engine trouble
I tried to search, but where can i find engines in fl? i've seriously been looking for a couple of months for any distributors in fl and have come up empty handed. thanks for the help

but that's the thing; i'm on el college budget, and i want to piece together my own b18b mini me. any suggestions? taking out a loan is out of the question

You can always try ebay. but of course there's always a risk. Try local junk yards and check the classifieds section on this site. good luck.
