Engine Temp and Idle
what up everyone i got a 93 hatch, and i put a 96 ls in it, now i have ur normal honda motor sway idle, revs from like 1000 1500, but it goes away when the engine is warn, now i kno everyone says iacv, which makes sense bc of the coolant lines running to it, but i worked on this car for like 3 weeks and the last day before i was about to quit i asked my friend for his ECU, he had a PR-4 and i was useing a p-75, with the PR-4 my check engine light went off, (code 41 o2 sensor) and it idled very high like 1600 but it still hunted a little bit. not much but the idle went down to normal when it was warmed up. so with the pr4 it still had the problem but not as bad, also the integra that i took the motor from ran fine bc i drove it into my garage before taking the motor out, so i dont see how a sensor or output (iacv) could go bad so fast, and if anyone lives in jersey or pa selling a pr-4 let me kno
Oh yea i tried searching

do a search for FITV or fast idle thermo valve. that's what controls your idle from startup up until your engine reaches operating temp.
IACV controls the idle WHEN your engine is already at operating temp. good luck.
