hey I understand you get small warranties on used motors when you do the swaps but I feel my motor should get some love, since I do not know whats good and bad on it? What are some things that everyone checks and replaces first when they get their swaps? Besides the Oil? I want to start fresh and ex. spark plugs... please help

water pump, timing belt & tensioner, plugs, wires, cap & rotor

Yeah VTAC pretty much covered it, do a basic visual inspection on mostly everything else...brake checks etc.

and what do you actually do when you hear that people clean the throttle body?? you just take the intake off and get a rag or what??
