Engine swap question
Right so I got a 98 civic dx 5-sp What is a good cost-effective engine swap to consider? I dont know any of those fancy-shmancy b18c1 or whatever engine codes. But anyways...Yeah something kinda cheap but faster...does that exist? Heh

Re: Engine swap question (moondoggy)
you can get a b18b for less and it has more torque and lower compression. You can build ur self a torque monstar (ls/vtec) or have a nice turboed car (LS-T)

Re: Engine swap question (DXRiCE98)
Put a vtec head on your motor(z6 or y8) and turbo it(junk yard or a used greddy kit)! For the $ that will get you quick.
But a B18c1, B18b, or a B16 is a more solid a motor to work from.
