Re: Engine swap question? (99siEM1)
1. yes, get some high compression pistons for the gsr block, and stronger connecting rods
2. yes, but you should get it tuned
question: how is your head built

Yes, a B16 head can be mated to a GSR bottom end. Yes, the headers will work. Technically, the ECU can be used to just run the motor to get you from point A to B, but i strongly suggest you look into getting a chipped p28 or even Type R computer for having a 1.8liter bottom end. A b16 ecu will run it on the leaner side, but as i mentioned before it can run it, just do not drive hard. With a built head and GSR bottom end you ought to invest in some form of tuneable ECU, as mentioned before, like a chipped p28, or hondata ECU.

I have stage 2 skunk2 cams AEM cam gears, valves, valve springs,ti retainers, type r rockers jet performance ecu, AEM fuel rail AFC 2 and a full MSD on its way.Im just stuck now on what to do.i know the b16 doesnt put out that much power unless turbo. So im lookin in doing a block swap or just saving and getting the 18c5, I really dont know what to do.

Re: (99siEM1)
First off, you're not running S2S2 cams on stock B16 compression, are you?
Secondly, lose the fuel rail, AFC, and the MSD. Stock Honda ignitions are good up to like 3-400hp. The stock fuel rail is fine, and AFCs suck.
Now before you start saving up for a B18C5, think about it's components. It's essentially a (worked)GSR block mated to a (worked)B16 head, but there are differences. PM me if you're really that interested.
A GSR block with a B16 head is what's commonly known as a PoorMan's ITR. It's completely doable, and if you invest in some higher compression pistons you'll be able to take full advantage of those cams.
And for the last thing, you're going to need some form of tunable ECU as was stated before.
