Engine Swap Info Needed! Please Help
Ok i have a 95 civic ex, 1.6 SOHC V-TEC, and it's an automatic. My question is what would be my best be for putting a complete engine/tranny swap. I've look at the B16A or , B16b or & H22A or . those are the ones i could afford. now the h22a has more power but will it fit? give me some insight on what i should do. Thanks.

welcome to H-T CivicMyster95, a lot of people are gonna tell u to search when u ask a question like that, but I'll answer your question to the best of my ability, yes the H22a will fit but u need a mount kit for that but if u can afford a B16B then u can afford a B18C1 or B18c5 and either one of those swaps would be better than the H22a, and you'll have better handling.

You might not realize that a b16b is civic type r engine. I think you might of meant b18b(Integra LS engine). Only advice I have for you is that if your going to put an engine in a coupe put a 1.8+ into it...(gsr,ls,prelude,crv)

Re: Engine Swap Info Needed! Please Help (sappsycho)
b16, b18, h22. There is no replacment for displacment. h22 and a beefy suspention would make a nasty starter base. however dont jusp in thinking you just need a mount kit. i just did a swap in a 93 dx hatch and its a little more indepth than that.
