Engine Swap & Exhuast Question

Engine Swap & Exhuast Question
I have a chance to get a hold of an Acura Integra Coupe with the B18B1 Engine and Standard Transmission for $400.00. I currently own a '93 Honda Civic LX Sedan, I wanted to know if it was possible to swap the B18B1 Engine with the Automatic Transmission I have? Or should I just buy a shell for the engine, and try to find a shell with the standard pedals, shift ****, etc.
The Integra body is in really bad shape, so I'd be looking to place the engine in a Civic body.
Exhaust Question:
Would the Integra Coupe Exhaust fit my Civic Sedan?

Re: Engine Swap & Exhuast Question
lol i did...pretty much no modification needed, but i hate the auto b18
and OP just buy the integra and rip out the engine and tranny and swap it into your civic and make it 5 speed, all the 5 speed parts from the integra will swap into your civic with no problems

Re: Engine Swap & Exhuast Question
Ya know, the auto B into Civic thing is something a few people have claimed to have done, but no one can ever prove that it's done correctly (read: not ghetto rigged) and running correctly.

Re: Engine Swap & Exhuast Question
Well, my plans are to buy the Integra, pull the engine, buy another civic body, and put it into the civic. It's gonna be my project for this summer before I begin University. Thanks everyone!

And you should grab a lot of stuff off the integra and scrap the body if its in bad shape

Any specific pics you want, only have my cell to take them with at the moment, but yes its super easy for 5th gens only hard part for 6th gens is the drivers side motor mount....and getting the $200+ ecu conversion harness to run it

Re: Engine Swap & Exhuast Question
If I'm reading it correctly, OP is referring to a B18B1 with manual trans and a civic with a D-series engine having an auto trans. OP, could you confirm?

Re: Engine Swap & Exhuast Question
What I'm going to do, is buy the B18B1 Integra, pull the engine, and then I'm going to go on a search for a Civic body, and install the B series engine.
